At Conflux, just before the banquet, I was heralded by a gentleman who bought In Bad Dreams earlier that day. He told me he had read my story and that he had enjoyed it. He then said:

"I was a bit surprised by the ending... I mean, you look so wholesome!"

I was pretty pleased... to say the least!

Amanda's News

Morrigan Books will soon commence work on an anthology that will feature stories from Elaine Cunningham, CE Murphy, Anya Bast and Katharine Kerr.

The theme centres around their very own namesake, the goddess Morrigan, and it will be edited by Mark S. Deniz and Amanda Pillar.

Grants Pass, a post apocalyptic anthology, edited by Amanda and Jennifer Brozek, will feature stories by Cherie Priest, Ed Greenwood and Jay Lake among many other authors.

The collection is due for publication in July, 2009, by Morrigan Books.

Gilgamesh Press' new anthology, In The Footsteps of Gilgamesh, has just announced its author line up. Amanda Pillar finds herself among esteemed company in this collection!
